ethernode® eSPEAK uses the existent Ethernet infrastructure to make your message been heard. According to ethernode's principle with PoE supply from the switch - no separate power cabling necessary. A highly efficient digital amplifier converts nearly 100% of the inserted energy into sound volume. We have tested it succesfully here in the open at highly crowded Theaterplatz while there has been heavy traffic.
eSPEAK not only contains the NET-A7 processor modules you already know from the other ethernode®products but also a sandwich extension board with mp3 decoder, digital amplifier and SD card. A big capacitor allows a higher average output than you could actually draw continuously out of the PoE switches 13.5W supply but in fact loudness is not the weak point anyway.
On the PC side we offer a service program that enables making announcements to one eSPEAK or groups of any size from any Windows client in the network. An "all groups" emergency announcement will reach all speakers in the network simultanously. Background music can be streamed to selected eSpeaks from a local playlist or an external sound source like a radio or an MP3 player (please regard copyright issues).
Depending on your requirements, canned automatic messages can be played. Please call us with your special requirements. We do custom design on speakers as well as functionality such as timed and/or generated announcements.
